The air intake snorkel is glued into the airfilter box. Just take a knife and peel off one corner, then use your hands and some brute force, and bend and jerk it away. It is long (goes down to the bottom of the box). If done properly there is no difficulty to replace if you want to do that. The engine will breathe more easyily, but it is not until you replace the exhaust you will notice any big difference (and of course the Powercommander does the big trick). Be aware so your engine do not run to lean, if needed adjust your injection (or best: Powercommander)
My fuel lamp works ok, it warns me when there are 5 liters left. Consumption after tuning is about 4-5 liters pr 100 km. But you have much more torque and power. Riding single my XT shows 183 km/hour. But more important, it got more grunt i medium revĀ“s!
