This is just amazing. Only someone who has not bothered to do their homework on motorcycling would come up wih such a comment. Nothing looks more pathetic than someone on a bike that is too big for them, or someone who hasn´t bothered with proper training. Taking the time to know what you can and can´t do and what fits you best will not only produce the most enjoyable ride, you will get a lot more respect from other riders. Getting in a wreck because you got in over your head will get no respect from others, but will get you labeled as an idiot that diserved to get removed from the gene pool. I applaud all riders who take the motorcycling classes, do their research, and wear their gear (it works). By the way, I´m on a 1983 Yamaha Maxim 750 and have been riding for about 5 years. The best advice I heard was "Ride your own ride."
