Sorry for any imprecise advise. I think that Dazz are basically saying the samething. The 750 Katana is a very good all around motorcycle for general purpose use. It is somewhat old school technology however (still uses carbs., etc.) The TL1000R is a much harder edged, focused, higher tech, sportbike which will require you to adapt to it rather than it willingly going along with your riding style. That having been said, I have a large soft spot in my heart for big, light, V-twin sport bikes. I wish I could tell you flat out that one bike or the other is the best buy, but it all depends on your desires/expectations.
