If your problem is low end throttle response and backfire, Polaris told me that the full injection system needs a minimum of 12.5 volts to work properly. Put your amp gauge on your bike and leave it idle. If itīs like mine, it will go around 12 volts. With the new Vegas style ignition in my ī00 Sports Cruiser, at an idle Iīm putting out 14 volts. This took away my backfire and improved my throttle response. I done it taking a chance, but I felt like it was worth a try seeing as how I didnīt even have the minimum voltage for proper system operation. Perhaps that will give you some help.
