RE: New Vespa GT owner

My husband and I bought the GT exactly one year and 2 weeks ago and have had problems with it from the start... Completely brand new and purchased from a "verified" Vespa dealer in San Francisco, it had the same problem with the fuel starvation, 6 months down the rode: problems with the carbarator, and now today it broke down again and was smoking & leaking coolent! Keep in mind, that we followed all the rules, no abuse, no accidents, always serviced in accordance with the warranty. Unfortunately, our warranty expired two weeks ago so now we are stuck with a lemon! Now I´m not sure if this is a flaw with the Vespa or the shop where we had it serviced... irregardless, DO NOT take your Vespa to be serviced or purchase a Vespa from the "Vespa Scooter store in San FRancisco".... they are way over-priced and were not helpful at all! Better luck with your scooter! (I really love my when it is running!)
