HI there, if I got you clear, you are facing a cut off problem with you VFR in spite of a new battery. I drive a VFR 800 50 th aniversary 1999 model, in 2001 I faced the same problem since my bike stalled while on the highway,it was a rectifier problem, and ever since my VFR is performing amazingly with 40.000 kms in feb 2005. have a safe journey. tito.
