tech question

IM the proud owner of a 01 scout. Sometime ago, just before my warranty expired I blew a head gasket. Instead of going back to stock, I had a shop install some goodies: a big bore kit,new SS pistons, an evo 590 cam, thunder header, yost power tube(atomizer). I have been quite pleased(it hauls ass). However, the other day someone ask me what the bore was and curios I looked back at the paperwork and it says under worked preformed 3 5/8 bore knowing a little more now than i did then I recognized that as 88 cu in. Before i go back to the shop and say something stupid is there anything to explain this or an easier way than pulling the head and measuring the celinder.
