Here is where I am at. 72 T120 V Have copy of original tital from the state of Md. Now a Pa. title. Odometer reads 9200 mi. The bike was not runnable. The carbs were removed. All else intact. 95% teardown is complete. Apears to have stock pistons , decent shape execpt for one that had the rings about half carboned and siezed to the piston. Looks like .020 bore/hone and new pistons will get it going. The motor had some rework done in the early 80´s. overall evrything seems to check out good.I have questions on upgrading to electronic ignition and carberation options among other. Proud owner of a good project so far. Reconstruction and detailing have begun. It will ride again. |
