Yes it was quite the bike back in the day. I bought one used a 1973 in 1974 I paid $1900.00 for it it had about 2000 miles on it. What great memorys. Then i sold it to a friend for $1500.00 in 1979 or 1980 and picked up a 1978 Yamaha XS1100 for $2600.00 with about 1200 miles on that thing flat out blew the 900 away. We did roll on´s at 60 mph in 5th gear I blasted away from it in a hurry. Then we slowed 60 mph again he was in 4th & I was in 5th same thing. It wasn´t till he was in 3rd & I was still in 5th that he was abel to pull me for a short while then I went right by him. Had I not seen it I would have had trouble beleveing it. But for a time the 900 Z1 WAS KING OF THE ROAD
