I´d tried this method on my 1969 El Dorado, Kragen auto parts has clamps strictly by clamping down on the springs will lower your bike, price for clamps $ 2.99 plus tax or find some flat piece of metal measure the height you want, drill the two holes top and bottom whaala, cost FREE takes ten minutes. If you raise the front end about six inches by taking the front end apart and screwing the six inch extensions you would be able to pull the front end up, upshifting to second gear, for third sit on passeger seat, fourth gear jump off bike from rear and jerk handelbars, good shoes are important on this manuever.
