You will be dissapointed if you get an 883. If you do decide on a Sportster, get a 1200. My wife has a 1200 that is highly modified. It is a little faster than my ´03 America, but only on a straight road and not enough faster to justify the amount of work that went into it. For handling, comfort and just plain fun to ride there is no comparison, the America is just nicer all around.
