Just purchased a 2000 F4 and everything is perfect about the bike except for one little detail. After I stop a a light and put the transmission into neutral from first and let the clutch out, it sometimes doesn´t want to go back into first gear. I tried doing a little rev of the engine before trying to put it back into gear but it didn´t help much. It seems to happen more often, once the engine has warmed up a bit.
The only way to get it into first when it is being stubborn is to shift to second and then back down to first which doesn´t seem right. Anyone have any ideas?
