Hi. I have just recently acquiored a 82 honda cm 240 custom. It is in very bad shape. someone had welded the shift lever to the shaft, and the adjusting bolts to align the rear tire are totaly missing. the top bolt that holds the drive gear housing has been broken off in the casing. the tank is dented and the right battery cover is missing. not to mention that it burns oil and someone striped the sparkplug hole out, then drilled it and retaped it, and put the wrong sparkplug in it that cannot be removed. luckly i have an old head and cam.Ive orded the parts to rebuild the top end. and teusday im going to a junkyard to see if they have the other stuff i need. If the have alot of stuff ill post it here. Wish me luck on this basketcase/project. |
