I recently had to go through this exact ordeal! ;-) Couldn´t decide between Gixxer600, R6, or CBR600.
Like previously mentioned by other posters, unless you´re a GP quality rider, you should hardly notice any difference between them. And even if you do, it will only be when riding them back to back.
In the end I went for what looks the "hottest", and made me "feel good". Am now a proud owner of an ´02 GSXR600.
Buy the one YOU want, not what some arm-chair-racer journo says is best for you.
