After 27 years of not riding, I bought my second new Kawasaki bike- a new 2001 W-650. This was in May of 2003 as Kawasaki discontinued sales of the W-650 in the USA due to poor sales...it seems everyone wants a cruiser or crotch rocket these days...WELL NOT EVERYONE! This is a perfect standard motorcycle with classic 60´s Triumph looks and great 2001 Japanese quality! Plenty of power and a wide torque band. Powerful headlight too. Electric/kick start and a center stand! Bike even has a Tachometer! Worth every penny of the $6500 I paid for it!
