I´ve owned my Van Van for 3 weeks now and I´m still running it in but I´m having a lot of fun. I have experienced no reliability problems, it handles nicely, the brakes are good and it seats me and I´m a big chap (6´5" and 17 stone). I was worried about a low top speed but I got it up to 70 the other day and it easily hits 50 which is about as fast as you can go anywhere in London. The acceleration is pretty quick but it won´t beat a twist and go from the lights (but it will beat just about anything on 4 wheels) and you have to stick to the lower gears to get the best out of it. Petrol wise it costs about £4 per 100 miles which is pretty economical in my book!
If you´re looking for something a bit different to the standard commuter bike then I would recommend this to you. It´s is not just Suzuki´s ´TW´, It has a lot more personality than that bike and some nice retro styling (although Suzuki´s own publicity shots do it no favours!).
