Puch VZ50 HELP!
Tim B said 2012-10-18 19:36
I´ve just got 1971 VZ50 but can´t find any technical publications, diagrams or manuals for anything but the yellow pedal-cycle type or 1972-on models. Mine´s a hybrid: evidently a yellow type with the engine replaced with the kick-start 4-gear foot-change engine, long seat (but missing rear foot pegs) and painted black. Identification plate says VZ50 M. Does anyone know if the 1972-on Haynes manual would do? Or the VZ 3P spare parts catalogue? I have 2 problems: 1) I don´t know what the generator output should be - it´s very feeble; measures nothing DC but 6V AC if revved! 2) there´s a cut feed wire to the brake light near the engine, but no sign of a brake light switch! HELP! Does anyone have exploded diagrams or circuit diagrams?
