You have a bent shift arm. This happened to me on my Honda 67. I have also heard several guys talking about loosing a pin inside of the trans that can also make the transmission un shiftable. So you really need to pull it apart and find the problem or take it to a dealer and they will pull it apart in 40 minutes and have it back together in another 40 minutes and you will be back on the road.
