I just bought a 2009 Boulevard C50 (with only 1442 miles on it) and have noticed a couple of blogs here and there that say the saddle bags are not water proof. Since I teach, I will be carrying a laptop computer and textbooks daily back and forth to the college. Aside from putting these items in a plastic bag, are there any suggestions about keeping things dry? Thanks for your input.
