This is for a 1980 Honda CM 400T. This bike sat idle for a long time. With the spark plug sitting on the head, I see a hot spark for about two seconds, then nothing. A restart attempt results in nothing again. If the bike sits overnight, I get the hot spark routine again. The CDI unit has been replaced with another used unit.
