Unfortunately I could not ride my 95 Honda ACE shadow VT1100 for about 2 years. It ran like a dream prior, now it backfires like crazy, drops power intermittently. I\´ve replace the fuel with high octane (93) plus carburetor cleaner, put in new plugs and it seemed to help some. What might my next option be as a Do-It-Yourselfer? Take off the tank and clean the carburetors? Or can I adjust/need to adjust the timing?
I didn\´t expect to not ride it for that long, my mistake. Could use some advice.
