hey just wondering if you ever figured out your problem, I have a 96 RF900r and i swapped the 96 generator with a -95- RF900r and not knowing if there was a difference it was OVER-POWERING the bike which fired my almost all of my bulbs and fuses and I replaced all of them and checked -wires + connections- and my bike STILL fires out of 2 plugs..... so the last thing im assuming is the cdi unit?? which controls ignition oh and also my RPM gauge isnt working

essentially Im asking if you ever assumed what the problem was and if you havent if you have tried checking out the cdi unit THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!!!
