It is getting time to change my oil again. I used Mobil 1 V Twin Oil in the past but at $ 17.00 cdn a litre or 20.00 litre for AMSOIL I am considering going back to Mineral oil perhaps Castrol Motorcdycle oil.
I have done research on the compound ZDDP which has sutely been taken out of oils over the years for enviromental concerns. This compund was used to cushion Tappets on particular engines. My question is since Suzuki C90 have Hydraulic lifters how critical is this to have an oil that has a high quantity of ZDDP. Would I need a motor oil that contains .16% or lower quantity .10% since the valves on this motorcycle are hydraulic.
