Thanks for the feedback. I´ve been riding off road bikes for 30 years, cross country racing, etc but I,ve never owned a "licenseable" bike. My intention for the 2005 640 Aventure is not to ride it like my current dirt bike, GasGas FSE 400, I.E. bashing it , dropping it and a little x-country racing but rather to hop on the highway for 1-3 hours and peel off some side roads to explore the great outdoors. In my mind the most challenging terrain I would take on is gravel roads, hard pack trails, less technical single track and some open dessert etc. Because I expect to ride the Advenure on the road as much or more than in the dirt I´m looking for a decent level of comfort while doing so. Any other insights regarding highway comfort level, cruisng speed etc would be appreciated. Regards Carson (itsagas)
