The YZ250F powers into season 2007 with a massive number of changes, some small, and some that just sound small. But in combination, they’ll have a dramatic effect on how you – and those trying to keep sight of your rear guard – perceive your new Yamaha.
Naturally, it will still have the same bulletproof reliability that YZs are famous for and other brands are striving for, but you’ll notice an even more flavoursome top-end punch.
But we weren’t finished with the engine. We also moved it, then moved the frame’s steering head tube, then re-tuned the flex quotients built into the frame, and shaved weight off a heap of components in critical areas.
