At the heart of the Satelis is a modern 22 HP 4-stroke liquid cooled 4-valve motor, making this maxi scooter more than capable of coping with traffic flow on trunk roads and motorways. Fitted as standard on the Executive version, the sophisticated ABS-PBS braking system, combining Integrated braking + Power-assistance + ABS, outclasses every other competing scooter on the market by offering total rider safety and an astounding reduction in braking distances. This makes major impact in difficult conditions: poor road traction, changes in road surface, and situations many riders generally cannot handle. The Executive version is also fitted with an Abus security chain which is anchored to the chassis of the bike within the storage compartment, and can be used to secure the bike to a railing or lamppost.
